About Us
Saddle Up Magazine was established in 2000 with a grass roots approach to keeping equine communities throughout British Columbia & Alberta connected. We continue striving for this principle by offering event and club news within each issue to inform our loyal readers of what’s happening in their area with the addition of engaging equestrian and horse related content to read. Our magazine is available for FREE in tack stores, vet clinics, feed stores, shows – essentially wherever you might find an equine enthusiast. From rural communities to cities, you can find Saddle Up.
At the helm are Tass & Ruby, a talented mother and daughter team with a lifetime of business, design and layout experience. Both are passionate equestrians well versed in a variety of disciplines and keenly aspire to Saddle Up’s Motto: All Breeds – All Equestrians! Their goal is to support, promote, and help keep alive equestrian communities of all sizes for generations to come! Saddle Up Magazine also has an amazing team of Canadian writers with equine backgrounds who strive to bring you Canadian content relevant to the horse world. From fun reads and informative topics to what’s new and happening.
