Saddle Up Magazine proudly features an exceptional team of Canadian writers with strong equine backgrounds, delivering engaging content tailored to the Canadian horse community. From unique articles and insightful information to features on the latest happenings in the equestrian world, the magazine offers something for every horse lover.

Established in 2000 by Nancy Roman with the goal of using a grassroots approach to keeping equine communities connected. Today at the helm are Tass & Ruby, a talented mother-and-daughter team with a lifetime of business, design, and layout experience. Both are passionate equestrians, well versed in a variety of disciplines, and keenly aspire to Saddle Up’s motto: All Breeds – All Equestrians! Together with their dedicated team, they strive to foster connections among equestrians of all kinds, support horse enthusiasts, and advocate for the future of horse sports.

The mission of our magazine is to connect communities and businesses of varying levels and aspects. Ultimately, our vision is to keep equine clubs, associations, and communities connected for generations to come. Saddle Up Magazine publishes a broad spectrum of equestrian content, from trainers and athletes to horse health, clubs, compelling stories, and the latest trends—all created by equestrians, for equestrians. Our team frequently attends shows and events for reporting and magazine distribution across Western Canada and into parts of Ontario and Québec. We are passionate about ensuring all can access current and informative content by distributing our magazine for free. At Saddle Up Magazine, we are horse people taking horseplay to another level!
